The Healthy Pets website has a very informative article about early spay/neutering entitled "Don’t Neuter Your Dog YET – Read This Life-Saving Information First!" Even though our contract states "puppy must be spayed or neutered by 9-12 months of age" we suggest waiting at least 9 months before this operation.  Once you read the above linked article, you will understand why.
