Are all Labradoodles created equally? IMHO...NO!
Here is the short version:
A First Generation Labradoodle (F1) is 50% poodle and 50% lab. This dog will is very likely to shed, anywhere from mild/light to full shedding; occasionally no shedding. Essentially the puppy is a result of breeding a poodle with a lab.
Second Generation Labradoodle (F1B) is a F1 bred to a poodle. Although their coat is typically much better than an F1 as a result of breeding back to a poodle, shedding is still quite unpredictable.
Multi-Gen Labradoodle
